Concentration in mol/dm³

Key ideas1 of 4

Count moles in a volume

Concentration in mol/dm³ tells you the moles of solute per dm³ of solution. Use c = n ÷ V, n = c × V and V = n ÷ c. Here V must be in dm³.

Molar concentration formulas with quantities and units: c equals n divided by V, n equals c times V, and V equals n divided by c.
