Investigate different surfaces

Place a reflecting surface on paper and draw its position. Use a ray box with a narrow slit to aim one ray at a marked point. Mark two points on each visible ray, remove the apparatus, then join the marks with a ruler. Draw the normal and use a protractor to measure angles from it. Repeat at several angles and compare smooth and rough surfaces.
